Beagle Buddies Rescue is a small rescue in Central Indiana using a network of foster homes. We work with animal control agencies, municipal shelters and rural humane societies to pull and rescue older adult and senior beagles and work to place in permanent loving homes. Older adult and senior dogs have an especially hard time finding a loving home when either surrendered to a shelter or found as a stray and turned into animal control. Adults and seniors make the most wonderful pets and companions. We are committed to finding loving homes for older adults and seniors who are unfortunate enough to find themselves in a shelter homeless in their older years. We have rescued over 100 beagles since late 2008 and hope to save many more. We also take in beagles with medical issues that, while treatable and/or controlled, may make them difficult to adopt from a shelter situation.
